Sunday's DraftKings main slate has 11 games. Thursday's Carolina at Green Bay game and both night games are off it. It's Wednesday, so read the injury notes below as a first look. Plenty of them change before Sunday.
Come back Friday for the updated picture. The Top Plays article lands Friday with updated injuries, confirmed starters and the Model Bets. It sits with the rest of our [NFL DFS articles](/nfl-dfs-articles).

Pass Rush Mismatches
| Pass rush | DL rank | Offensive line | OL rank | Line injuries |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Detroit | 7 | Minnesota | 30 | None |
| Las Vegas | 13 | NY Jets | 29 | None |
| Pittsburgh | 18 | Cleveland | 32 | None |
| Minnesota | 1 | Detroit | 8 | None |
| LA Rams | 21 | LA Chargers | 31 | None |
| Kansas City | 32 | Denver | 4 | None |
| Arizona | 15 | Dallas | 3 | None |
| LA Chargers | 11 | LA Rams | 1 | None |
Minnesota's line ranks 30th and gives up a sack on 9.9% of dropbacks. Detroit's front is seventh. Aidan Hutchinson has 22 pressures and five sacks, D.J. Wonnum has five sacks, and Alim McNeill adds 11 pressures. The Lions D/ST is a real option, and Kyler Murray is going to see a lot of Hutchinson.
The Jets line is 29th and gives up a sack on 9.2% of dropbacks. Maxx Crosby leads the Raiders with 25 pressures, and Malcolm Koonce and Kwity Paye have three sacks each. Las Vegas gets pressure on 29% of dropbacks. Las Vegas brings a cheap D/ST that's in play.
Cleveland's line is dead last in our ranks and gives up a sack on 10.6% of dropbacks. T.J. Watt has 5.5 sacks and Alex Highsmith has three. Pittsburgh's front is only 18th overall, but this matchup is the one to target. We like the Steelers D/ST.
Minnesota has the best front in football by our ranks. Minnesota sends a blitz on 69.3% of dropbacks and gets pressure on 36.2% of them. Dallas Turner has 25 pressures and six sacks. Detroit's line is eighth, so it can hold up, but Jared Goff won't have many clean dropbacks.
The Chargers line is 31st and gives up a sack on 10.4% of dropbacks. Byron Young has 18 pressures and 4.5 sacks for the Rams, who are without Kobie Turner. The Rams front is 21st, but Justin Herbert has been sacked plenty behind this group. The Rams D/ST fits.
Denver ranks fourth in pass protection, with a sack on only 4% of dropbacks. Kansas City's pass rush is 32nd and has a 3.6% sack rate. George Karlaftis has 18 pressures and one sack. Bo Nix should have time all day. Stay off the Chiefs D/ST.
Dallas has the third-best pass protection in our ranks. Dak takes a sack on 2.5% of dropbacks. Arizona's front is 15th, and Budda Baker leads it with 3.5 sacks. Dak Prescott should be clean. Pass on the Arizona D/ST.
The Rams line is first and allows pressure on 16.8% of dropbacks. Khalil Mack has 11 pressures and three sacks for a Chargers front ranked 11th. Matthew Stafford gets time. Fade the Chargers D/ST.

Run Blocking Matchups
| Run blocking | Run block rank | Run defense | Run D rank | RB YPC | RB YPC allowed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| LA Rams | 1 | LA Chargers | 16 | 5.0 | 4.2 |
| Dallas | 10 | Arizona | 27 | 4.1 | 4.3 |
| Cleveland | 28 | Pittsburgh | 1 | 4.0 | 3.6 |
The Rams line is first in our run blocking ranks, and Rams backs average 5.0 yards a carry. The Chargers run defense is 16th and allows 4.2. Kyren Williams gets the best run blocking on the slate, though Blake Corum keeps taking a piece of the work.
Dallas is 10th in run blocking and faces an Arizona run defense ranked 27th that allows 4.3 yards a carry to backs. Javonte Williams just ran for 155 yards, and this is another good spot.
Cleveland's run blocking ranks 28th, and it runs into the top run defense in our ranks. Pittsburgh holds backs to 3.6 yards a carry. Quinshon Judkins has to find the end zone to pay off here.
Early Window, 1:00 PM ET
BAL @ BUF
Team Totals: BAL 24.9, BUF 28.1
Josh Allen had Week 7 off. In Week 6 he went 23 of 33 for 255 yards and two touchdowns, and in Week 5 he ran 10 times for 121 yards and a score. He should run about seven times, more than any quarterback this week, but at $7,700 he's the most expensive quarterback on the slate and he's overpriced. Expect about an average play count, with Buffalo the quicker offense … James Cook ran 22 times for 95 yards and a score in Week 6 and caught three passes for 58 more. He should get about 20 carries, second only to Gibbs, but only about two targets at $7,900. Buffalo's 28.1 is the second-highest team total on the slate, so the touchdown chances are there … DJ Moore is questionable with a shoulder injury. Khalil Shakir ($5,600) has a 16.2% projected target share and moves up if Moore sits … Dalton Kincaid caught seven of eight targets for 38 yards in Week 6, but $5,300 is a lot for that.
Lamar Jackson has missed the last three games with an ankle injury and is questionable. The betting market is treating him as the starter, but Tyler Huntley ($4,800) threw all 34 passes in Week 7 for 298 yards, so wait for Friday before you play either one … Henry carried 17 times for 45 yards in Week 7. He should get about 19 carries at $7,200, but he catches one or two passes a game, so his day depends on a touchdown … Zay Flowers caught eight of 11 targets for 137 yards and a score in Week 7, and he has a 25.0% projected target share at $7,200. Buffalo has given up more DraftKings points to wide receivers than any defense in the league, 43.3 a game over six games. Buffalo was a man team on 44.6% of snaps last season, and man pushes more targets to wideouts … Mark Andrews ($3,400) is our favorite cheap tight end, with about five targets coming.
Model Prediction: BUF 30, BAL 25
TEN @ CIN
Team Totals: TEN 18.4, CIN 27.8
Joe Burrow went 22 of 30 for 292 yards and four touchdowns in Week 7. No team on this slate throws more in neutral situations than Cincinnati, 7.5 points above its expected rate, and Burrow should throw about 33 times. At $7,000 he's still overpriced. Tennessee plays at the fourth-quickest neutral pace and Cincinnati is 28th, so this one lands near an average play count. The Bengals front, third in our ranks, faces a Titans line ranked 19th. Boye Mafe has 4.5 sacks and Dexter Lawrence has four, so Cincinnati's D/ST is a strong option … Chase Brown ran 11 times for 39 yards and caught four of five targets in Week 7. The yards were ugly, but he should get about 16 carries and four or five targets at $6,300, and he's the top running back value we see this week … Ja'Marr Chase caught five of seven for 62 yards and a score in Week 7. He has a 21.9% projected target share at $7,700, and that's not enough targets for $7,700 … Tee Higgins went for 148 yards and a touchdown on seven targets, and he gets 44.4% of the Bengals' air yards at $6,700.
Cam Ward went 20 of 31 for 181 yards, no touchdowns and a pick in Week 7. At $4,600 he's cheap, but Tennessee throws 11.7 points below what the situation calls for in neutral spots, so the ceiling is low … Tony Pollard ran 25 times for 129 yards and three touchdowns in Week 7. He should get about 15 carries and two targets at $5,800, and Tennessee has the lowest team total on the slate. That makes him a touchdown-dependent dart … Carnell Tate gets 45.0% of the Titans' air yards, the biggest share on the slate. He caught five of seven for 69 yards in Week 7 and costs $5,200 … Wan'Dale Robinson ($4,200) carries a 19.0% projected target share, but he turned six targets into seven yards last week.
Model Prediction: CIN 31, TEN 16. A 14.8-point margin against a market spread of 10.5.
ARI @ DAL
Team Totals: ARI 23.2, DAL 29.6
Dallas has the top team total on the slate, 29.6. Dak Prescott went 15 of 27 for 212 yards and three touchdowns in Week 7, and he should throw about 35 times at $6,300. His line is third in our ranks and gives up a sack on 2.5% of dropbacks, so he'll have time, with Arizona's front ranked 15th … Javonte Williams ran 25 times for 155 yards and a score in Week 7, with no targets. He should get about 18 carries and three targets at $7,300, and Arizona's run defense ranks 27th … CeeDee Lamb caught five of 12 targets for 74 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7, one week after he saw 19 targets. He has a 26.6% projected target share at $8,100 and the biggest air yards gap on the slate, with the weekly numbers at the bottom … George Pickens ($6,600) caught four of six for 57 yards and a score and has a 20.2% projected target share … Ryan Flournoy ($4,600) caught all four of his targets for 70 yards.
Jacoby Brissett threw 48 times in Week 7 for 272 yards and a touchdown. He should throw about 35 times, the top number on the slate. At $5,700 that's a good value … Trey McBride caught 10 of 13 targets for 111 yards and a score in Week 7. He has a 27.5% projected target share, but $7,400 is a lot to pay at tight end … Michael Wilson ($6,200) had eight targets in Week 7 and gets 36.4% of Arizona's air yards … No receiver on the slate is a better value than Kendrick Bourne ($3,900), who should get five or six targets … Jeremiyah Love missed Weeks 6 and 7 with an ankle injury and is questionable. Tyler Allgeier ran eight times and Bam Knight seven times in Week 7. Stay away from this backfield until we know about Love.
Expect about 126 plays here, close to four above the league average and the most on the slate. Dallas plays at the third-fastest neutral pace, and Arizona's last three games averaged 130 plays. That's room for both passing games to hit.
Model Prediction: DAL 30, ARI 25
MIN @ DET
Team Totals: MIN 21.6, DET 25.1
Jared Goff went 22 of 32 for 303 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7, but he faces the top pass rush in our ranks, and at $6,600 he's overpriced. Minnesota blitzes on 69.3% of dropbacks. This game projects for one or two more plays than average, and Lions games have averaged 136 plays this season, the most of any team … Jahmyr Gibbs ran 29 times for 116 yards and caught five passes in Week 7. He should get about 23 carries, the biggest carry count on the slate, plus about six targets at $9,500. Minnesota has given up the fewest DraftKings points to running backs in the league, 16.9 a game over six games, but that workload still makes him the most popular player on the slate, and we're fine with that. The Vikings were a zone team 81.7% of the time last season, tops among these defenses, and zone leaves the short throw to the back … Amon-Ra St. Brown is questionable with an ankle injury. He caught nine of 11 targets for 153 yards in Week 7 and has a 29.0% projected target share at $8,000. If he sits, Jameson Williams ($6,000) becomes the top target. Williams caught five of nine for 91 yards and two scores last week … Sam LaPorta ($5,100) had just two targets in Week 7.
Kyler Murray went 14 of 24 for 150 yards and a touchdown in Week 7 and ran five times for 39 more. He should run about five times at $5,600. Detroit has given up the most DraftKings points to quarterbacks in the league, 27.8 a game, but Murray plays behind the 30th-ranked line against Aidan Hutchinson … Aaron Jones is questionable with a knee injury, and he ran only eight times for 26 yards in Week 7. Jordan Mason ($5,700) ran 15 times for 68. If Jones sits, Mason should get about 14 carries … Justin Jefferson caught four of seven for 44 yards in Week 7. He has a 22.2% projected target share at $7,100 and is overpriced … T.J. Hockenson ($4,600) caught four of five for 35 yards and a score in Week 7. Detroit has given up more DraftKings points to tight ends than any defense in the league, 29.9 a game, so we like him at that price.
Model Prediction: DET 24, MIN 22
LV @ NYJ
Team Totals: LV 21.9, NYJ 23.3
Geno Smith went 23 of 30 for 287 yards and three touchdowns in Week 7, and he's a good value at $5,200. His line ranks 29th, though, and Maxx Crosby gets after it. This game projects for close to an average play count, with the Raiders 10th in neutral pace and the Jets 27th … Braelon Allen ran 17 times for 104 yards in Week 7 and caught six of seven targets. Breece Hall has missed the last three games with a quad injury and is questionable again. If Hall sits, Allen should get about 14 carries at $6,100 … Omar Cooper Jr. has scored in back to back weeks, with 103 yards on seven targets and then 115 on five. He's up to $4,800 now, and five to seven targets is a thin base for that price … Garrett Wilson caught two of three for 26 yards in Week 7. He has an 18.8% projected target share at $6,300, and that's too much … Mason Taylor ($3,300) caught two touchdowns last week.
Kirk Cousins threw 44 times for 295 yards and two scores in Week 7. At $5,500 we'll take that kind of volume … Ashton Jeanty caught all eight of his targets for 61 yards and a score in Week 7, but he ran only eight times. He should get about 14 carries and five targets at $6,700. His line is last in our run blocking ranks, so the catches are what keep his floor up. The Jets played zone on 59.9% of snaps last season, and the backs who catch passes do better against zone … Brock Bowers caught six of eight for 73 yards. He has a 23.9% projected target share, but $7,600 is a big tight end price … Tre Tucker saw 12 targets in Week 7 and went for 103 yards and a score. He costs $5,500 with a 17.0% projected target share … Jalen Nailor ($3,200) is one of the better cheap receivers on the slate.
Model Prediction: NYJ 24, LV 22
CLE @ PIT
Team Totals: CLE 18.5, PIT 21.6
Aaron Rodgers went 19 of 30 for 212 yards and a touchdown in Week 7. He should throw about 32 times at $5,100 … Jaylen Warren ran 18 times for 101 yards and caught three of four for 36 in Week 7. He should get about 15 carries and four targets at $6,600, and he's one of the best running back values on the slate … Rico Dowdle ($5,100) caught six passes on six targets and ran nine times last week, so Warren doesn't get every snap … DK Metcalf caught two of six for 56 yards in Week 7 after 15 targets in Week 6. He has a 22.1% projected target share at $5,400 … Germie Bernard ($4,900) caught 11 of 12 in Week 6 and has a 17.7% projected target share.
Deshaun Watson went 25 of 36 for 308 yards, no touchdowns and a pick in Week 7, and he ran one in. He should run about five times at $5,400, but his line ranks 32nd, and T.J. Watt has 5.5 sacks. Cleveland has the second-lowest team total on the slate … Quinshon Judkins ran 17 times for 96 yards and two scores in Week 7. He should get about 12 carries and three targets at $5,500, but Pittsburgh has the top run defense in our ranks. He's a touchdown-dependent dart … KC Concepcion caught eight of 10 targets for 129 yards in Week 7. He costs $4,700 with an 18.3% projected target share … Harold Fannin Jr. ($4,200) caught six of nine for 91 yards … Denzel Boston has 227 unrealized air yards since Week 5, more below.
The 40.1 total is the lowest on the slate, but these offenses play quicker than that number suggests. Cleveland is seventh in neutral pace, and Pittsburgh's last three games averaged 128 plays.
Model Prediction: PIT 22, CLE 18
ATL @ TB
Team Totals: ATL 21.7, TB 24.0
Baker Mayfield came back in Week 7 and went seven of 11 for 64 yards and a touchdown. He's a good value at $5,200. The play count here should land right at average, and both offenses sit in the bottom half in neutral pace … Bucky Irving ran 24 times for 106 yards and two scores in Week 7. He should get about 16 carries and three targets at $6,400. Kenny Gainwell ran 14 times for 88 yards, so watch that split … Emeka Egbuka missed Week 7 with a concussion and is questionable. He saw 16 targets in Week 6. Chris Godwin Jr. ($4,800) has a 19.6% projected target share and gets more if Egbuka sits.
Michael Penix Jr. went 25 of 34 for 213 yards and three touchdowns in Week 7, and he's a good value at $5,300. Atlanta runs more than it should in close games, 7.5 points below its expected pass rate. That limits everyone behind London … Bijan Robinson ran 20 times for 63 yards in Week 7 and caught all five of his targets for 59. He should get about 17 carries and five targets at $8,500 … Drake London caught seven of 10 targets for 66 yards and a score. He has a 28.4% projected target share and 43% of the air yards at $7,000 … Kyle Pitts ($4,500) found the end zone in Weeks 5, 6 and 7, but he only sees about five targets.
Model Prediction: TB 26, ATL 20
IND @ JAX
Team Totals: IND 19.8, JAX 26.9
Trevor Lawrence had the bye in Week 7. In Week 6 he went 24 of 41 for 306 yards and four touchdowns, and he costs $6,200. Jacksonville's line is 14th and faces a Colts front ranked 31st, so he should be clean. Skip the Colts D/ST. Expect about one fewer play than an average game, and Jacksonville is 31st in neutral pace. Rain is in the forecast, a 55% chance with gusts near 23 mph … Bhayshul Tuten ran 12 times for 39 yards in Week 6 and caught four passes for 48 yards and two scores. He should get about 16 carries at $5,900, and only Chase Brown grades out better among backs for the price … Parker Washington saw 11 targets in Week 6 and has a 22.3% projected target share at $6,500 … Jakobi Meyers ($4,500) had 10 targets in Week 6 … Brenton Strange ($4,000) is the other cheap tight end we like.
Daniel Jones went 13 of 22 for 108 yards and a pick in Week 7. He's cheap at $4,700, but that's a rough floor … Jonathan Taylor ran 18 times for 95 yards and a score in Week 7. He should get about 17 carries and three targets at $7,800. Jacksonville has given up the second-fewest DraftKings points to running backs in the league, 17.3 a game, so we'd rather spend elsewhere … Tyler Warren missed the last two games with a groin injury and is questionable. Josh Downs ($5,300) has a 17.1% projected target share, and Keenan Allen ($4,500) had 11 targets and eight catches in Week 6.
Model Prediction: JAX 28, IND 17
Afternoon Window, 4:05 PM ET
LAC @ LA
Team Totals: LAC 19.5, LA 25.4
Matthew Stafford went 23 of 29 for 195 yards, three touchdowns and a pick in Week 7. He should throw about 34 times at $6,400, and the league's top line protects him … Puka Nacua caught eight of 10 for 68 yards and a score in Week 7. His 30.6% projected target share leads the slate, and he costs $8,600. With Davante Adams on IR, the targets keep coming … Kyren Williams ran 16 times for 99 yards and a score in Week 7. He should get about 14 carries and three or four targets at $7,500, behind the best run blocking line in our ranks. Blake Corum ($5,000) ran 17 times for 93 yards and a score, though, and he takes a real share … Tyler Higbee ($3,800) is a cheap tight end with about four targets.
Justin Herbert had Week 7 off too. In Week 6 he went 22 of 37 for 204 yards and a pick, and he ran five times for 26. At $5,000 Herbert is the top quarterback value on the slate, and he should run about five times. The catch is his line, 31st in our ranks, and Byron Young on the other side. The Chargers throw 11.9 points below expected in neutral situations. No offense on this slate passes less … Omarion Hampton should get about 13 carries but only about two targets at $5,100, and the Chargers are near the bottom of the slate in team total. He's a touchdown-dependent dart … Tre Harris (hamstring) and Ladd McConkey (concussion) are both questionable. Quentin Johnston ($4,600) should see about five targets either way.
A 44.9 total reads quiet, but the game projects for two or three more plays than average, and Rams games are at a 132-play average across the last three. A Rams lead forces Herbert to throw.
Model Prediction: LA 29, LAC 16. A 12.8-point margin against a market spread of 6.5.
Late Window, 4:25 PM ET
KC @ DEN
Team Totals: KC 21.1, DEN 20.2
Patrick Mahomes went 19 of 33 for 165 yards, no touchdowns and a pick in Week 7. He costs $6,000, and Denver's pass rush, No. 2 by our ranks, gives him trouble … Kenneth Walker III ran 14 times for 36 yards in Week 7 and caught four of five targets. He should get about 19 carries at $8,800, and that's too much to pay in a 41-point game … Rashee Rice missed the last two games with a hamstring injury and is questionable. Xavier Worthy ($4,900) had six targets in Week 7 and has a 17.6% projected target share. Denver sat in man on 44.6% of snaps last season, tied with Buffalo for the most here, and that pushes targets outside to receivers like Worthy … Travis Kelce ($5,000) caught four of eight for 44 yards.
Bo Nix went 15 of 29 for 222 yards and a touchdown in Week 7, and he ran seven times for 73 yards and a score. He's a good value at $5,100 and should run about four times. Denver's protection ranks fourth, and Kansas City's pass rush is last in our ranks, so Nix should be clean … Jaylen Waddle is questionable with a chest injury. He caught four of seven for 48 yards in Week 7. Courtland Sutton ($4,700) moves up if Waddle sits … The backfield is a mess. Jonah Coleman ran nine times for 54 yards in Week 7, J.K. Dobbins ran six times for 23 and a score, and RJ Harvey caught a 54-yard touchdown. The books have Dobbins at 25.5 rushing yards. We're skipping all three.
The 41.3 total looks slow, but the game projects for a play or two above average, and Kansas City is ninth in neutral pace.
Model Prediction: KC 21, DEN 20
NE @ MIA
Team Totals: NE 25.4, MIA 19.5
Drake Maye went 24 of 31 for 321 yards, two touchdowns and a pick in Week 7, and he ran one in. He should run about five times at $6,500 … Rhamondre Stevenson ran six times in Week 7 but caught all five of his targets for 93 yards and a score. He should get about 11 carries and three targets at $5,600. Miami has given up the third-most DraftKings points to running backs in the league, 27.7 a game, and Stevenson is a good value … A.J. Brown had 10 targets in Week 6 and six in Week 7. He has a 21.1% projected target share at $5,900 and 173 unrealized air yards, more below … Hunter Henry ($4,300) caught all seven of his targets for 71 yards.
Malik Willis went 14 of 21 for 208 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7, and he ran eight times for 37 yards and a score. He should carry it six or seven times, second only to Allen, and he's a good value at $4,900 … Ollie Gordon II ran 25 times for 103 yards and a score in Week 7. He should get about 13 carries and two targets at $5,700, and Miami is near the bottom of the slate in team total. He needs a touchdown … Malik Washington ($4,400) has a 19.3% projected target share … Greg Dulcich ($3,200) caught all five of his targets for 86 yards.
This is the slowest projected game on the slate, about 118 plays, and Miami is 29th in neutral pace. Miami would rather run and milk the clock.
Model Prediction: NE 28, MIA 17. A 10.8-point margin against a market spread of 6.5.
Pace numbers for every game: [NFL pace of play](/nfl-pace). Pass rates for every team: [NFL pass rate over expectation](/nfl-proe).
Unrealized Air Yards
Unrealized air yards: take how far downfield a receiver's targets traveled and subtract the yards he caught. When the targets keep coming, the yards tend to catch up.
CeeDee Lamb, Cowboys: 232 yards of gap. Week 5: five targets, 56 air yards, nine receiving yards. Week 6: 19 targets, 153 air yards, 70 receiving yards. Week 7: 12 targets, 176 air yards, 74 receiving yards. That's 31 targets over the last two weeks, and he's in the game with the highest team total on the slate.
Denzel Boston, Browns: 227 yards of gap. Week 5: seven targets, 94 air yards, 46 receiving yards. Week 6: five targets, 87 air yards, 15 receiving yards. Week 7: eight targets, 134 air yards, 27 receiving yards. Three weeks, three misses on steady deep looks, and he's still $5,200. The Steelers pass rush is the risk.
A.J. Brown, Patriots: 173 yards of gap. Week 6: 10 targets, 99 air yards, 27 receiving yards. Week 7: six targets, 149 air yards, 48 receiving yards. Romeo Doubs is on IR, so Brown keeps the top outside role, and Maye threw for 321 yards in Week 7.
