Golf DFS Hub

PGA DFS hub

The golf hub is the starting point for PGA DFS research. Four tabs cover the tournament week: the schedule of upcoming events, DFS projections for the current DraftKings slate, strokes gained stats by player, and tournament weather by round and tee time wave.

What each tab covers

The schedule tab lists upcoming PGA Tour events with dates, course and field strength. The projections tab shows DraftKings points, floor, ceiling, ownership, make cut, win and top 10 probabilities for every player on the current slate. The strokes gained tab breaks down every player by total, tee to green, off the tee, approach, around the green and putting. The weather tab shows wind, rain and temperature by round and morning versus afternoon wave.

Golf DFS is weather sensitive because tee times are staggered. A player in the morning wave before the wind picks up has a different scoring window than a player in the afternoon wave in the gusts, and the weather tab makes that visible round by round.

Building a PGA DFS lineup

Start with the projections tab for a ranked board, then check course history and strokes gained to confirm fit. A player who gains strokes at this specific course is a better play than a player with the same projection on a course he has never played well. The lineup optimizer takes the projections and builds a DraftKings lineup under the salary cap with stacking and exposure rules.
