How the UFC optimizer builds lineups

Every lineup is solved exactly with branch and bound. It searches the full set of legal six-fighter rosters and returns the highest-projected one under your rules. It never uses a greedy fill.

DraftKings lineups are 6 fighters under a $50,000 cap. FanDuel lineups are an MVP who scores 1.5 times plus 5 fighters under a $100 cap; the optimizer places your highest projected fighter at MVP.

By default the optimizer never puts both fighters from one bout in the same lineup, because one of them loses. Set max fighters per bout to 2 to allow it.

Cash and GPP settings

Projection mode builds for cash games. Ceiling blend mixes in the 85th percentile outcome from the fight sim, which favors fighters with a real chance at a first round finish.

Ask for up to 150 lineups. Each one re-solves with a little projection randomness, a minimum number of unique fighters against every earlier lineup and exposure caps, so the set is not one core with a single swap.
