The Game

Week 3 opens at Lambeau Field, open air on a 61F overcast night with the wind under 5 mph, so neither kicker nor either deep passing game loses anything to the weather. Green Bay lays 5.5 at DraftKings and 4.5 elsewhere under a 43.5-point total, which splits into team totals near 24.2 and 19.7, and both teams arrive with something to fix. Atlanta has scored 16 points in two games, losing 20-13 in Pittsburgh and then 34-3 at home to Carolina, where Cooper Rush and Jack Strand split 32 attempts for 145 yards and three interceptions before the team named Michael Penix Jr. the starter for Thursday. Green Bay went the other way, dropping 42 Jordan Love passes into a 39-22 loss in Minnesota and then grinding out a 20-17 overtime win over the Jets on 29 attempts.

The positional ratings put the biggest edge in this game on the Atlanta side even with Green Bay favored, with Falcons running back against this Green Bay front grading out as the widest mismatch on the field and the Packers receivers against the Atlanta secondary a clear second. The bottom of the list is Penix against the Green Bay defense, followed by the Packers backfield against an Atlanta front that rated well above average on the ground. Atlanta also lost 19 goal-line carries and six scores when Tyler Allgeier left and brought in only four, while the middle of the Falcons defense leaked 5.31 YPC on 127 carries last season, and Green Bay ran up the middle 119 times at 3.42 a carry with six touchdowns, so the Packers keep choosing the lane that fits Atlanta's soft spot even though it hasn't paid them much.

The slate breaks open if Green Bay scores twice early and Penix has to throw 40 times while Love keeps answering through Watson and Golden. It gets strangled in a 23-16 Packers win built on three field goals and a committee backfield, where the optimal CPT is a kicker or the Green Bay defense and hardly anybody has one up top.

Atlanta Falcons

Drake London ($8,800) has caught six of nine targets for 80 yards across two games with two backup quarterbacks, and 7.4 targets project Thursday against a 5.5-reception line posted at four books, so the books expect his volume to come back with Penix. His 2025 split ran 8.95 YPT against zone and 6.97 against man, and Green Bay played zone on 83.2% of defensive snaps in 2025, and I treat that as a lean off last year's tape. His outcomes bunch toward the bottom with a long right tail, since he busts more often than the other starters above $8,000 here, but he's the correct CPT well ahead of how often anyone plays him there, the widest such gap among the names with a real chance to win this game, which makes him my favorite large-field pivot on the board.

Jahan Dotson ($3,000) drew seven targets across the two games and projects for 3.3 against a receiving yards line near 19, and he posts a big game more often than his price implies, and that keeps him in play as salary relief with a real role. Olamide Zaccheaus ($2,000) arrived to replace the 72 targets Darnell Mooney took with him and projects for 2.4, while Zachariah Branch ($3,800) sits at 2.0 projected targets at a tag that assumes more than the role has produced, so I'd rather save the $1,800 on Zaccheaus.

Kyle Pitts Sr. ($6,600) has one catch for 15 yards on four targets this season, 4.1 targets project Thursday, and more than half of his outcomes come up empty, so he's a large-field bet on one red zone look. Austin Hooper ($1,600) out-targeted him in Week 2 with four looks and hits a ceiling more often than anybody priced above $1,000 on this board, a cheap tight end in an offense that ran 12 personnel on 36.5% of its plays in 2025.

Bijan Robinson ($11,800) turned 21 carries and 10 targets into 173 scrimmage yards in Pittsburgh and followed with 16 carries and four targets against Carolina, and 18.5 carries and 6.8 targets project against a 78-yard rushing line and a 4.5-reception number. Nobody in this game combines that carry count with that many targets, the goal-line work Allgeier left behind has nowhere else to go, and his positional matchup grades out as the best on the field. He's the correct CPT here more often than anyone and he'll also be the field's favorite CPT tonight, which I'm fine with, since he belongs in every cash-game lineup I build and on top of my single entry. Brian Robinson Jr. ($4,400) handled 11 carries for 51 yards last week, projects for 7.1, and carries a rushing yards line near 23, so he's a touchdown-or-bust dart throw who could inherit some of the short-yardage work Allgeier left behind.

Nick Folk ($4,800) is priced $400 under Trey Smack with a kicking points line a full point lower at 6.5, which makes him a Green Bay comeback pivot rather than where I'd begin. The Falcons D/ST ($3,400) is the cheaper defense and still has a real path, since a Packers offense that threw 42 times in Minnesota gives it chances.

Michael Penix Jr. ($9,000) steps back in for an offense whose two quarterbacks have thrown five interceptions against one touchdown pass, and he projects for 30.7 attempts against a 31.5 pass attempts line with almost nothing on the ground. The ratings give him the worst individual matchup anywhere in this game, and his floor is thinner than Love's by a wide margin, but both quarterbacks usually belong on a showdown roster, so he's a cash-game FLEX consideration and a large-field bring-back rather than anything I'd build around.

Green Bay Packers

Christian Watson ($9,800) opened with 147 yards and two scores on eight targets in Minnesota and followed with 11 targets, 38% of the team's looks, against the Jets, and 9.1 targets project Thursday with Jayden Reed ruled out. Packers receivers against this Atlanta secondary is the second-widest edge in the game and the Falcons allowed the 11th-most DK scoring to wideouts in 2025, so the ceiling is real and the floor holds up on volume alone. He's a cash-game lock in the FLEX, but he'll be captained about as often as he earns it and probably more, so I'd rather get to him underneath.

Matthew Golden ($7,800) drew 12 targets in the opener and took 37% of Green Bay's air yards on six targets last week, and 8.5 targets project against a 4.5-reception line. He posts a slate-winning game more frequently than any other pass catcher above $4,000, and at $2,000 under Watson he's the slate's best price-adjusted receiver and the salary relief that lets a roster carry both Bijan and Watson. Skyy Moore ($2,400) and Bo Melton ($1,200) split what's left with Reed out, at 1.2 and 0.8 projected targets, and neither profiles as anything beyond a touchdown-or-bust dart throw.

Tucker Kraft ($7,000) caught three of six for 65 yards in Week 1 and two of three for 15 in Week 2, projects for 5.6 targets against a receiving yards line near 46, and runs into an Atlanta defense that allowed the fourth-fewest DK points to the position in 2025. That matchup is the honest case against him at this price, which leaves him as a large-field pivot off the two receivers rather than a cash-game piece.

MarShawn Lloyd ($7,400) leads the backfield with Josh Jacobs out, running 19 times for 57 yards across two games and scoring on a short catch last week, and 12.8 carries and 2.2 targets project against the second-worst positional matchup in this game. The books post Kaleb Johnson ($4,000) at a rushing yards line near 35 against 28.5 for Lloyd, a disagreement worth taking seriously after Johnson out-carried him eight to six against the Jets, so this is a committee on a price that assumes a lead back. Lloyd is a FLEX-only play with fewer than three projected targets, Johnson is my favorite large-field leverage piece on the Green Bay side, and Chris Brooks ($5,400) at 5.3 carries is the pass-down back I'd skip.

Trey Smack ($5,200) carries a 7.5 kicking points line, a point clear of Folk, and his bad night is still a usable fantasy score more often than any skill player priced near him, which keeps him in cash-game lineups. Lenny Krieg ($5,200) didn't dress in either game, so I'm leaving him alone. The Packers D/ST ($5,000) faces a quarterback room with five interceptions in two weeks and outscores everyone in this game about three times as often as it gets captained.

Jordan Love ($10,000) threw 42 times for 387 yards in Minnesota, then 29 times for 145 and two scores against the Jets, and he projects for 31.9 attempts against a 31 pass attempts line and a pass touchdown line at 1.5. His floor is the steadiest of any non-kicker on the board, and he's captained right around as often as he deserves, so he's a cash-game lock and a FLEX piece in almost everything I build rather than my top slot.

Packers D/STLeverage$5,000Atlanta has thrown five interceptions in two weeks.
Kaleb JohnsonLeverage$4,000Books carry him above Lloyd on the ground, and a Johnson-led backfield reprices both.

The Captain's Chair

Bijan Robinson goes up top on a single entry, because a back with 18.5 projected carries and 6.8 targets against the best positional matchup on the field is the correct CPT more often than anybody, and $17,700 at CPT still fits Love and Watson underneath. He'll be the field's favorite CPT, so I accept sharing this roster with a lot of people.

Drake London takes over once the field gets big, since nobody with a real chance to win this game shows a bigger difference between how often he's the correct CPT and how often he's played there, and $13,200 at the top leaves room for Bijan and both Packers receivers. The Packers D/ST is how I sit by myself, since it'll barely register at CPT while an Atlanta passing game with five interceptions in two weeks gives it real paths, and $7,500 up top buys every expensive name on the board.

Two numbers from the first-place archive bear on this game. 67% of winners put a non-quarterback skill player at CPT, which supports Bijan and London up top, and 61% of winners carried a kicker, a defense or both, so Smack at $5,200 and the Packers unit earn their spots on merit.

Stack Ideas

CPT Bijan Robinson, Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Austin Hooper, Olamide Zaccheaus. My first entry, with the best matchup on the field up top and the Green Bay passing game underneath, at $48,900.

CPT Christian Watson, Jordan Love, Bijan Robinson, Drake London, Jahan Dotson, Austin Hooper. The shootout build, needing Watson to repeat the Minnesota night with Atlanta trading scores through its two best players, at $49,900.

CPT Drake London, Michael Penix Jr., Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Kyle Pitts Sr., Olamide Zaccheaus. Atlanta falls behind and Penix drops back 40-plus times, with the two Green Bay receivers as the bring-back that built the deficit, at $48,400.

CPT Packers D/ST, Jordan Love, Christian Watson, Bijan Robinson, Trey Smack, Austin Hooper. Green Bay controls it while Atlanta keeps giving the ball away, and Bijan's targets hold up as the bring-back in a negative script, at $45,900.

CPT Matthew Golden, Jordan Love, Bijan Robinson, Kyle Pitts Sr., Nick Folk, Olamide Zaccheaus. Golden's ceiling at a lower CPT tag than Watson's, with Pitts and Folk as a cheaper Atlanta bring-back than the usual Bijan pairing, at $46,900.

Model Recommended Bets

We have Green Bay 26.6, Atlanta 17.9, a 44.4-point game within a point of the posted 43.5, so the total isn't worth a bet and only one market clears our threshold.

Green Bay moneyline (-250) is a thin lean. The Packers win outright in 71.7% of our simulations while the no-vig market gives them 68.5%, a 3.2-point gap I read as the books underpricing a Falcons quarterback room with five interceptions in two weeks, and -250 is a lot of juice to lay for an edge this thin, so I'd shop for the best number or pass.

Long Shot Touchdown Bets

Austin Hooper is the only long price in this game I'd name. We have him scoring 7.3% of the time while the devigged price sits near 4.0%, and the two books carrying him are far apart at +1500 and +3000, so I'd only bet it at +3000. Week 3 volume still carries some season-long seeding, and no book posts a no price on these, so the fair figures at this end of the board read a little high and the level is approximate.

Final Thoughts

One bullet gets the straightforward roster with Bijan captained and Love, Watson and Golden underneath, because the best positional matchup on the field and the two receivers splitting Reed's work carry the most volume in the game, while the roster still leaves $1,100 on the table.

The live question before lock is the Green Bay backfield, since the books have Johnson ahead of Lloyd on the ground while the price sheet has it the other way around, and an early Johnson carry count would tell me the market read it right.

In a large field I get different with London captained and Penix paired with the Packers receivers, because Bijan, Watson and Love will split most of the CPT entries between them, and the Atlanta receiver with the most targets costs $4,500 less at CPT than the back everyone is starting with.
